We Are On A Mission
To Help Others
Here at Jay’s Legacy we are comprised of an entire team that DO NOT receive any sort of compensation for their time. Every team member believes in giving back and that starts with US! We thank each and every foundation team member for their donated time!
Jay’s Legacy Foundation serves local inner city youth, students, and other less fortunate individuals. Though we primarily focus on educational grants and scholarships we never limit the extent to which we offer our aid.
We provide assistance and support to students & student athletes that are seeking scholarship opportunities to further their education and athletic endeavors in college. We believe all students deserve education beyond high school. Lack of means or funds should not be an obstacle for a student who is striving to achieve their goals.
- Support the less fortunate
- Impact the lives of those in need

About Jay
A Closer Look Into Jay's Life
JeShan (“JAY”) was just starting the next chapter of his life when he was in a tragic car accident which took his life way too soon. He was 18 years old, maintained a 3.9 GPA or higher, and was a captain on his high school football team. He was a part of the multicultural club and graduated from high school on the high honor roll. He then went on to attend Dixie State University (now Utah Tech University) where he was playing football while pursuing his degree.
Jay was full of love and life. He was free-spirited and easy going. Jay was a leader, easily loved, and he always put others first. He enjoyed helping people and definitely made friends effortlessly. Jay had a contagious smile. When he walked into a room, you could feel his positive vibe and fun energy. Jay loved his family and enjoyed hanging out with friends. There was never a dull moment with Jay around. If someone was having a bad day, he always knew what to say or do to put a smile on their face. Listening to music and dancing were also Jays favorite things to do. He was definitely entertaining and “one of a kind”!
